I got news the app is undergoing improvements and shall have an update out this coming December 2022.

What an absolute con, cannot use my Rav after iOS 16, very unhappy

1. Cannot use portrait mode on ipad mini; it is forced into landscape. 2. The upper part, about 10% of the screen, does not display properly on screens larger than iphone 5. 3. If both internet (wired or wireless) and wifi 2.4/5ghz are used, the transmission speed becomes unbelievably slow, particularly in third party apps, like vlc, nplayer, etc. Almost unusable. Not sure weather it’s a bug or functionality issue. Problem 1 and 2 do not appear in the old version. Perhaps ios kills it. I’m preparing to migrate to android. Too many bugs and deliberate anti-consumer policy in iOS nowadays.

Makes the Ravpower device useless. Cannot give you more details because I was not able to connect to it on my iPhone.

The app has been broken for months and seems to be abandoned after amazon banned rav from selling their products on amazon anymore so they rebranded to sell on amazon again and abandoned all rav products.

Just bought this hardware. Used it once and now the app doesn’t work and I can no longer use the device! Now it’s a paperweight.

Travel router stopped working. App stopped working. Developer website stopped working. Something very fishy going on. Useless app for a useless brick.

Can’t even open the app for 3 seconds

The latest iOS update made this app unusable. It starts and shows a splash screen for half a second and then disappears. How do they expect to sell more file hubs if they don’t have good software for their products?

Works fine on my iPad but crashes on start up on my iPhone 12. Can’t figure it out

So I bought the RAVPower file hub device, downloaded their app on m iPad, it wasn’t intuitive at all, when I figured it out, the process of transferring files was slow and the app crashed often. Now the will crash before it opens. Now the $70 device is useless.

I can’t even launch the app to connect to my FileHub device, making it useless. I tried all the “if your app crashes” remedies I could find.

Purchased the hardware. Downloaded the app. It doesn’t load, just the splash screen. I can still use the gear, but disappointed in the software.

I’m hoping there’s an update coming soon (if at all) because I used this app daily. Now with the new update it doesn’t open at all. This makes me so sad.

app not working, it crashes on start up, wrote to support, there is no solution at this time, they are selling the device without app update, SCAM? After insisting they told me will pass the issue to engineer to find a solution, 1 month ago, nothing yet…smell very very bad…

The app does not work on iOS 16 at all. Crashes when attempting to launch!

The app crashes immediately on iOS 16.1.1 and an iPhone 12. Could you please fix this, since it makes the FileHub basically not usable.

I bought this mostly so I could bring music and videos with me when traveling, but this doesn’t work on music at all. App crashes when I try at all, but no problem with my videos so far. On screen controls for moving to a different point in the video are managed via swiping left/right, which can get annoying… Imagine adjusting yourself in your seat, and you accidentally poke the screen in the process. Well, you just lost your place in the clip you’re watching, and now you gotta relocate it… Some videos of varying quality occasionally makes this more difficult as well. For example, some videos won’t permit you to track to a different segment in the clip at all. Regardless, this really only works as a powerbank or a portable drive to access videos on your phone/tablet. Admittedly, not sure about its other functions, like the router features. It’s too bad… If it had a means of accessing music as well, I could’ve given a higher score. I have such a device that works for music and smaller videos, but the device I own is no longer produced. I was hoping this could serve as a alternative when that eventually dies, but unfortunately not… Also, I noticed the price on this device went up by double what I paid… I definitely do NOT recommend it at this price. In the entirety of my ownership, they have not released any updates that could help with some of the issues I deal with in the app… It’s clear funding this device doesn’t in-turn mean you’re also paying for the continuing development of updates on your investment…

Can’t even open it. Very frustrated

Not sure if the app needs updating but it crashes every time I start it. Any ideas why?

The app crashes when you try to open it no longer works

I click to open and the splash screen come up for about a second and goes away then nothing. If it does not with then I’m not wasting space by keeping it.

I wish I had known before I got on this flight that the app no longer works in v16… 😭

The app keeps on crashing while trying to enter to it and no update is available to resolve this issue as it is across iPhone's and iPad's. Hope to get an update to resolve this issue.

Download the NewHub app, it works on IOS 16.

Crash on ipad os 16.1 please update it!

App constantly crashes on iPhone 12. Please update. Router very temperamental and frequently does not connect. 5G function causes issues as well. App not very user friendly.

The company support team says they will not update the app for iOS 16. For those with this issue check out the “NewHub” app.

App will not even open on iOS 16, which is unfortunate. It’s a good product, but has weak software and support.

Doesn’t even open on latest iOS Version

Starts, I see opening screen for 1 second, then gone….. running iOS 16.0.2. iPhone 11 Pro.

I try opening the app and it just closes,before it used to work fine but now it’s not working I have had it for a while and I do recommend this product though it’s great just stopped working recently

App used to work great as advertised. Seamless integration… but now the app just keeps crashing, as soon as I open it. Please update 🙏

Like others have commented it’s pretty lame that they’re selling a product that doesn’t support the most recent Apple operating system. Yes that is correct. It will not run on iOS 16.

Needs an update. It crashed and never opens. Just takes me back to my iPhone homepage. Update the app

Useless app, it last maybe a second and it crash.

I used this device for a little over a year until iOS 16. The App does not work and immediately crashes upon startup. How can they still sell this w/o a working App option!??

The app stopped working after I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 16. I’ve successfully used my Rav Filehub in the past to backup my photos while traveling without a computer. Please update the app or else my Filehub will turn into a paperweight.

App not working please update

Had this thing for years although a little out dated but still works for what I use it for. That was until I updated my device to software update 16… now it just crashes on startup

Crashes on opening. Please stop selling this device if you refuse to keep the app updated.

The app worked ok on iOS 15 (the GUI had something to be desired, but at least it worked. But now it doesn’t work at all…just crashes on startup.

No longer works on iOS16. Moving onto a GL.Inet router for better support. Truly the gateway to travel routers
